This demonstration uses a built-in sample dataset behind a provider-abstraction layer. In a production deployment, fundamentals and prices would be sourced from a licensed financial-data provider and primary filings (e.g., SEC EDGAR), with cached historical fundamentals and scheduled or on-demand price refreshes, and each figure timestamped with its 'as of' date.
